AI Engineer | New York City | $200k–$300k + equity
We’re partnering with a Series B AI startup in NYC that’s building systems to process and understand real-world audio at scale. They’re looking for an AI Engineer with hands-on applied experience who can take models from prototype into production.
The ideal person has worked on AI agents, LLM-powered applications, or other applied AI systems, and wants to join a small, fast-moving team where ownership is high and the impact is immediate.
What you’ll do:
- Design and deploy systems that process and understand human speech in real time
- Build and refine agents that operate in live environments
- Collaborate closely with founders and engineers to shape product direction
What we’re looking for:
- Applied AI experience (LLMs, NLP, speech, or agents)
- Strong engineering background, ideally Python
- Proven track record of moving systems into production
- Excited about working on-site with a tight-knit NYC team
