Position Summary
The
Logistics & Supply Specialist will play a key role in facilitating the procurement, dispatch, and logistical coordination of services and materials for well site and maritime operations. This position serves as the primary interface between internal stakeholders, suppliers, and logistics contractors, ensuring timely and compliant execution of supply chain and logistics activities. You will track requests, verify deliveries, arrange vessel logistics, and support overall materials management efforts with precision and professionalism.
Core Responsibilities
- Initial point of contact for well site supervisors for dispatch of services/products
- Process purchase requisitions and issue/follow up on RFQs
- Coordinate logistics for assigned vessels and well site operations
- Maintain real-time tracking and documentation of all material/service requests
- Confirm dispatch actions and communicate timelines to field supervisors
- Review and approve supplier invoices; verify delivery documentation and specs
- Create material receipts and maintain accurate transaction records in ERP systems
- Interface with procurement, logistics leads, vendors, and international stakeholders
- Assess and coordinate local/in-country transport and customs logistics capabilities
- Maintain awareness of environmental and regulatory compliance
- Support contractor qualification, logistics safety, and infrastructure vetting
Key Qualifications
- 10+ years oil and gas logistics experience
- 5+ years of experience in drilling and completions operations
- Skilled in logistics competencies in supply chain management including systems and processes
Position Details
Pay: $36-$45/hour (1099)
