We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic Technology Services team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and delivering technology projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. In this role, you will serve as the critical link between business stakeholders and the development team, ensuring our projects are delivering value to our company and our customers. This role requires a strong understanding of agile methodologies, and a proven track record of successfully managing projects in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
Reporting to the VP of Product Management – Pharmacy Software and Enterprise Initiatives, you will play a pivotal role in driving projects to meet business needs. You will be the voice of the customer, translating their needs into innovative solutions that drive business value and solutions.
What You Will Do
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects from initiation to closure.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Ensure adherence to agile principles and Scrum framework within the team.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating as necessary.
- Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
- Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Pharmacy, Health Informatics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on technology projects.
- Proven experience working with agile methodologies, specifically Scrum.
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent agile certification is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments (SAFe or similar) and hands-on experience with Azure DevOps or comparable tools.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to translate complex business needs into technical requirements.
- Familiarity with APIs, data integrations, and healthcare IT standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or regulated industries.
- Familiarity with pharmacy software or enterprise technology platforms.
- Certifications in SAFe, Agile Product Management, or related disciplines.
- Experience working with nearshore or distributed teams.
- Experience with various project management tools and techniques.
