Job Title: Vendor Relationship Manager (Contract – Possible Temp to Hire)

Location: Remote

Duration: Through end of year (with potential to convert to full-time)

Pay Rate: Up to 46.00 per hour

Start Date: ASAP

Interviews: 2 rounds (1:1 with hiring manager and a panel interview)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Vendor Relationship Manager to support a key portfolio of suppliers for a major client. This role will focus on vendor oversight, contract compliance, performance management, and issue resolution. It’s a strategic position with high visibility across multiple internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

Manage vendor governance and relationships across a designated supplier portfolio
Act as a point of escalation for vendor-related issues and drive resolution
Monitor compliance with contracts, SLAs, KPIs, and other performance metrics
Participate in business reviews with vendors and internal stakeholders
Collaborate with business owners, service delivery teams, and sourcing/procurement
Provide input on RFPs, vendor selection, and contract negotiations
Support improvements in vendor oversight processes to reduce operational risk

Qualifications

3–5+ years of experience in vendor management, supplier governance, or procurement operations
Strong understanding of contract management and performance metrics
Proven ability to manage relationships and communicate across teams
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and present data effectively
Ability to work cross-functionally and influence decisions
Experience in a regulated industry is a plus
