Analyzes and optimizes supply chain operations to ensure timely delivery, manage coordination with suppliers, monitor inventory levels, and develop strategies to minimize costs and improve efficiency. Other duties include researching fair prices, negotiating deals, and recommending improvements to enhance performance.
Position Responsibilities:
- Collect data on supply chain operations
- Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency
- Develop and execute projects to enhance supply chain operations
- Establish and maintain relationships with shippers and vendors
- Assess vendor operations and enforce compliance with quality standards
- Measure supply chain performance and report findings to management
- Collaborate with purchasing, logistics, and IT departments to enhance service delivery
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business management, or related fields preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Ability to motivate others to achieve established goals
- Ability to assign tasks to team members based on given directions
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, inventory management, or related fields
