Madewell is seeking an Influencer + Community Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support shaping and elevating Madewell’s brand identity. In partnership with Influencer Manager + Sr. Social Media Manager, you will support driving the development of effective strategies that marry brand creative & results in the Social & Community team.
The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of relevant experience. Must be highly motivated, proactive, collaborative, a self-starter, solution-oriented, resilient, interested in customer data and comms planning, and above all --a champion of the creative process and building strategies that lead to compelling work.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Director of Social & Community + Senior Manager on the Creative Partner Program – from strategy development, identifying talent, contract, to finalizing content needs and product needs.
- Support performance-driven partnerships and campaigns, collaborating with key team leaders to maximize content across paid and digital channels.
- In partnership with Influencer Manager, execute day-to-day influencer marketing efforts, including outreach, campaign execution, briefing, content tracking, and ongoing communication.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with multiple departments to drive programs forward, ensuring accountability and follow-through; comfortably operate within a matrixed organization.
- Support team on cultivating, growing, and retaining strong relationships with key influencers and creators, building a robust and engaged community.
- In partnership with the Senior Manager of Social, support the creation of monthly reports to provide actionable insights; integrate data into broader creative campaigns to deliver data-driven content.
- Support managing the whole campaign lifecycle: from sourcing and outreach to contracting, product placement, sample coordination, briefings, managing approvals, invoicing, and performance tracking.
- Provide regular reporting (weekly, monthly, and ad hoc) on influencer content performance, reach, engagement, and ROI.
- Contribute to the management of Tribe Dynamics and Dash Hudson, tracking monthly performance and scaling both short- and long-term objectives.
- Support the development of briefs for influencer campaigns, ensuring that content aligns with the brand's storytelling.
Qualifications
- 3+ years related experience in brand and influencer marketing in a creative-first setting.
- Proven success managing influencer campaigns with measurable ROI.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating across teams and managing complex workflows within a matrixed environment.
- TikTok native - you understand social media inside and out as an avid user of all platforms.
- Extensive experience in the content creator economy, ensuring creativity and community remain at the forefront.
- Experience working with content management tools and/or social media analytics tools is a plus.
- Ability to navigate among multiple constituents, platforms, and communities to ensure strategies/goals are understood and met.
- Understanding of how to create “brand appropriate (non-corporate) voice” in social media to build authentic, relevant, interactive consumer relationships.
- Confident, collaborative, and communicative with a desire to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive problem solver and critical, creative thinking are a must.
- A strong team player and a self-starter – collaborative, proactive, and enthusiastic to drive teams to results
- Excellent organization, communication, interpersonal, and project management skills
- Exemplary written and oral communication skills with experience producing content for C-Suite presentations.
- Previous experience handling product, sample coordination, logistics, and tracking is a plus.

Salary Range: $64,200.00 - $77,000.00
