Administrative Assistant

11+ month contract

Hourly Pay Rate: $20-25/hr

Onsite- NYC

Hours: Approximately 20 hours a week (2/3) days onsite per week

Must Haves:

Administrative Experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills (communicates with students, alumni, staff, and employers)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and G-Suite (Gmail, Drive, Sheets, Docs) required
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills

Preferred Skills:

Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.
Experience in higher education or academic setting

Job Summary/Description: The Variable Hours Officer – Administrative Assistant (VHO) offers administrative support for international study programs and, when necessary, assists with other initiatives within the Office of International Programs (OIP)

Maintain and regularly update databases related to program activities
Organize and manage documentation for students and programs involved in international studies
Prepare and distribute communications pertaining to international programs
Refresh and manage content on the International Programs website
Handle general inquiries received via email
Input data required for processing immigration-related forms
Offer basic support for research tasks when requested
Help coordinate events such as informational sessions and conferences
Carry out additional responsibilities as needed to support the Office of International Programs (OIP)
