Relief International

Relief International is a humanitarian and development organisation delivering health, nutrition, education, economic support, and water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) services in fragile settings worldwide. It operates across 15 countries in Africa, Asia and the Middle East, with a workforce of approximately 7,000 staff and local volunteers.

The organisation's approach is grounded in local empowerment and evidence-based programming. Around 97% of its staff are local nationals, and it prioritises partnership with local actors, conflict-sensitive approaches, and inclusive solutions. Its programming also incorporates climate-smart methods to address environmental challenges in the communities it serves.

Relief International's service areas span four main domains: Health and Nutrition, providing critical services to vulnerable communities; Education, supporting community development through learning; Economic Development, enhancing livelihoods through economic support; and WASH, improving public health through water, sanitation and hygiene initiatives.
