Frequently asked questions
The short answers to what employers and candidates ask us most. Can’t find yours? The team answers every email.
For employers
Posting, pricing, applicants and getting a hand with a search.
How do I post my first job?
Create an employer account, add your logo and a short company description, then click Post a job and fill in the role: title, location or remote, salary range, job type and how candidates should apply. Pick a plan at checkout and the job goes live.
How much does it cost to hire here?
Employers choose a Basic, Standard or Premium membership, monthly or annual, and Enterprise pricing is built around your volume. Each plan sets how many jobs run at once, how many can be featured, and how many candidate profiles and contacts you get.
How long does my job stay live?
Each posting runs for 30 days from the day it goes live. Your dashboard shows the expiry date, and you can post the role again when it ends.
Can I edit a job after posting it?
Yes. Open the job from your employer dashboard to change the wording, salary, location or application settings at any time.
What does “featured” do?
Featured jobs carry a badge and appear above standard listings. How many roles you can feature at once depends on your plan.
Where do applications go?
Applications made on Recruit & Employ land in your dashboard’s applicant pipeline, where you can read resumes, move candidates through stages and message them.
Will I be told when someone applies?
Yes — you get an email each time a new application arrives, so no applicant sits unseen in the dashboard.
Can I contact candidates directly?
Yes. Every membership includes talent-directory access with a set number of profile unlocks and candidate-contact credits, so you can approach candidates before you advertise.
How do I pay, and can you invoice us?
Pay by card through secure Stripe checkout and your receipt is emailed to you. Invoice billing on net terms is available on Premium and Enterprise.
Can someone help me fill a hard-to-fill role?
Yes. Our recruiting team runs single-role support, contingency and retained searches, and we will post your first job with you on a free 15-minute onboarding call.
For candidates
Applying, job alerts, and who gets to see your profile.
Is it free to look for a job?
Yes. Job seekers never pay to search, apply or get matched with roles on Recruit & Employ.
Do I need an account to apply?
You can browse and search every role without an account. Applying takes a free candidate profile — or, where a role uses it, the employer’s own application link.
How do I hear about new jobs?
Create a job alert: enter your email, confirm the link we send you, and new roles matching your search arrive in your inbox. Unsubscribe any time.
Who can see my profile?
You decide. Profiles start hidden, you can change that whenever you like, and we never share your details with an employer without asking you first.
Can I update my resume or profile later?
Yes. Open your account to change your resume, experience, education or bio whenever you like — upload a newer resume and the sections on it refresh automatically.
Will anyone contact me about a role?
When a role we are recruiting for fits your background, a recruiter may reach out. You are never submitted to an employer without your consent.
Still have questions?
Tell us the role, the plan or the account you are asking about and the right person will get back to you. customersuccess@recruitandemploy.com
