Maven Clinic
Maven Clinic runs a virtual clinic for women and families, delivering fertility, maternity, parenting and menopause care to 28m lives in 175+ countries via employers and health plans.
Maven Clinic operates what it describes as the world's largest virtual clinic for women and families. Founded in 2014, the company runs a digital health platform that delivers clinical, emotional and financial support across fertility, maternity, parenting and menopause care. Its services are sold to employers and health plans, which offer them as employee benefits; the platform currently supports 28m lives across more than 175 countries and counts over 2,000 employers and health plans as clients. Maven Clinic has raised more than $425m in funding.
The care model spans four main areas. Fertility and family building provides access to specialised providers; by the company's account, 30% of fertility members achieve pregnancy without assisted reproductive technology. Maternity and newborn care is available on a 24/7 platform and is associated with up to 27% fewer NICU admissions. The remaining two areas cover parenting and paediatrics, and menopause and midlife health. More than 30 types of specialised providers work through the platform, and the care model is backed by over 40 peer-reviewed studies.
Technical work at the company centres on digital health platforms, telehealth, virtual care delivery and healthcare outcomes analytics. The stated mission is to make healthcare work for women and families, with an emphasis on evidence-based care and on improving outcomes while reducing costs for employers and health plans. Support is designed to be holistic - clinical, emotional and financial in one place - and available around the clock.
