Baptist Housing

Baptist Housing is a non-profit, faith-based organisation that provides care and support to seniors across British Columbia. Founded in 1964 as a single location in South Vancouver, it now operates 21 senior living communities and employs more than 2,500 team members. The organisation serves more than 2,750 residents and has been operating for over 60 years.

Its communities span a continuum of housing and care models: Seniors Rental Housing, Independent Living, Assisted Living and Long-Term Care. Together these cover independent living with support available through to ongoing, comprehensive care for seniors requiring it. Baptist Housing works across the senior living, healthcare and elder care, housing and residential care, and non-profit sectors.

Geographically, the organisation is present throughout British Columbia, with communities in Vancouver, West Vancouver, Maple Ridge, Abbotsford, Victoria, Kelowna, White Rock, Salmon Arm and Armstrong. Roles therefore exist across a range of regional centres as well as the Vancouver area.

Baptist Housing describes itself as founded on Christian principles while welcoming people of all faiths and backgrounds. Its stated mission is to create supportive environments in which seniors can thrive, with an emphasis on resident wellness, community engagement and spiritual well-being.
