HG External is the recruitment arm of HumanGood, one of the largest nonprofit providers of senior living in the United States and the sixth-largest of its kind in the country. The organisation operates more than 125 Life Plan and Affordable Housing communities across multiple states, serving more than 13,000 residents and employing over 5,000 people. Its combined operating experience exceeds 125 years.

HumanGood's Life Plan Communities offer a continuum of care comprising independent living, assisted living, memory support and skilled nursing residences. Alongside these, the organisation runs affordable housing communities for older adults. A foundation-administered benevolent support programme distributes more than $1m a year to residents who have outlived their financial resources.

As a nonprofit, HumanGood directs its resources towards operational excellence rather than shareholder returns, and states a long-standing record of financial strength. The organisation describes its purpose as enabling people to live with enthusiasm, confidence and security regardless of physical, social or economic circumstances, and says it invests in the health, happiness and personal fulfilment of both residents and team members.
