We are looking for an experienced and strategic Director of Corporate Supply Chain to oversee and optimize supply chain operations in McKinney, Texas. This role focuses on managing end-to-end processes, ensuring efficiency, and driving continuous improvement in logistics and procurement. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in supply chain management and demonstrate exceptional organizational leadership.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the development and execution of supply chain strategies to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Oversee and manage procurement processes, including purchase requests and vendor relations.
• Monitor global supply chain logistics, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with company standards.
• Identify and implement improvements across supply chain operations to drive performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain activities with business goals.
• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure payments are processed accurately and on time.
• Manage customer collections, reconciling balances and ensuring timely payments.
• Support month-end close activities by contributing to financial reporting and reconciliation tasks.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the supply chain team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
• Extensive experience in supply chain management, logistics, and procurement.
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Unanet or Epicor is preferred.
• Proven ability to analyze and improve supply chain processes for efficiency and scalability.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interface with internal teams and external partners.
• Experience in government contract accounting is a plus but not required.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams in a dynamic work environment.
• Knowledge of global supply chain operations and compliance standards.
