Job Summary For Project Coordinator (Jira)
Location: Hybrid Auburn Hills, MI or Frisco, TX- local
- Maintain and organize Jira boards in accordance with Comerica ECPMO standards.
- Create, manage, and update Jira cards for all project elements (tasks, requirements, user stories, risks/issues, etc.).
- Learn and implement Comerica’s ECPMO operating model and governance framework for projects and change management.
- Support project managers and change delivery leads in aligning ongoing projects to ECPMO standards and Jira structure.
- Gather, update, and maintain all project documentation and records.
- Create and manage project databases, team contact lists, and distribution lists.
- Ensure version control and approval tracking for all documentation.
- Prepare and update materials for Steering Committee and stakeholder meetings.
- Track status of all project requests, invoices, approvals, and procurement activities.
- Schedule and coordinate project training for team members and stakeholders.
- Manage contractor procurement, onboarding, and offboarding.
- Support the execution of project phases or manage small, less complex projects.
- Ensure on-time delivery and execution of assigned projects to deliver business value.
- Secure and coordinate resources to support project demands.
- Monitor project budgets, timelines, and dependencies; escalate issues as needed.
- Communicate project status, accomplishments, and health to stakeholders via reports and scorecards.
- Develop and manage project schedules, deliverables, and team assignments.
- Organize and facilitate project meetings.
- Create and administer project communications plans.
- Monitor and track implementation checklists and readiness deliverables.
- Maintain software/hardware inventories and oversee procurement processes.
- Support production certification and user acceptance testing, including drafting test plans/scripts.
- Provide general project management support and assist with end-to-end project communications.
- Participate in continuous improvement of project management practices and tools.
Experience Required: 12+ years in project coordination/management, preferably with Jira and ECPMO environments.
