We're on the lookout for a highly skilled and analytical Data Scientist to support strategic workforce planning and talent strategy initiatives through advanced analytics, data engineering, and visualization. This role involves designing survey methodologies, synthesizing large-scale unstructured data, and developing predictive models that drive executive-level decision-making. You will also build robust data pipelines and scalable solutions to measure and optimize workforce-related KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement statistical models and machine learning techniques to analyze talent-related trends and predict workforce needs.
- Create robust and scalable data pipelines to consolidate unstructured data from diverse systems such as HRIS, engagement surveys, and performance management platforms.
- Develop survey methodologies and perform statistical analysis to inform organizational planning strategies.
- Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau or Power BI to provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Collaborate with HR, talent strategy, and business teams to understand workforce dynamics and define key metrics and success measures.
- Communicate findings and present recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior executives.
- Lead the development of analytics frameworks that support scenario modeling, workforce segmentation, and organizational planning initiatives.
- Stay informed on emerging analytics trends and technologies and evaluate their application in workforce intelligence.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in data science or analytics, preferably within HR, workforce planning, or talent strategy domains.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and statistical modeling packages.
- Strong experience with data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Proven ability to work with large volumes of structured and unstructured data from disparate sources.
- Hands-on experience building ETL/ELT pipelines for analytics use cases.
- Familiarity with workforce metrics, employee lifecycle data, and organizational design concepts is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.
- Experience working in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
Preferred
- Background in designing survey instruments and analyzing employee sentiment data.
- Experience in advanced analytics projects related to HR, talent management, or organizational planning.
