Summary:
The Procurement Analyst is responsible for managing the procurement technology, platforms, and reporting within the Procurement Services Department. This position works cross functionally across the organization to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions that will optimize the overall Procurement Department while developing reporting opportunities for the Procurement Department and NTTA stakeholders. This position reports to the Director of Procurement Services.
Responsibilities:
- Provides technical management and leadership in procurement platform Marketplace, Agiloft, and supports the ERP Workday implementation.
- Approves new vendors within the PeopleSoft application.
- Provides backup support for all purchase order processing and management.
- Provides recommendations for document control, workflow analysis, and processes geared for automation and controls for data integrity.
- Uses process analysis and performs lean analyses to reduce procurement time durations for completing various tasks within the procurement process.
- Creates and maintains process mapping and analysis of the Procurement and Business Diversity processes and procedures related to supporting departments and stakeholders within NTTA.
- Provides deep analytical support in procurement projects, including but not limited to, implementation of procurement systems and project tracking tools.
- Provides customer support and follow up by working with internal customers to develop and maintain forecasted procurement items that are posted to the public.
- Perform various systems tasks, including extracting data and creating management reports and works with internal stakeholders to improve efficiencies and effectiveness.
- Maintain and report performance/savings metrics.
- Effectively communicates oral and written resolution of issues with all internal and external partners.
- Applies established procedures, policies, and standards with little or no supervisory guidance.
- Manages and leads medium complexity projects of a Contract Management Lifecycle tool for Procurement.
- Executes supplier performance management techniques in accordance with defined standards and guidelines of contract.
- Supports Procurement Director(s) in working to identify future sourcing opportunities.
- Interacts with cross-functional team members.
- Performs project management as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum:
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- At least four years’ experience
- Valid driver's license
- Expert level proficiency in Microsoft office suite
- Knowledge of Workday
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems and/or computer science
