LaSalle Network is hiring a Training Development Specialist for a leading national retailer known for its dynamic culture, innovative operations, and commitment to cross-functional collaboration. In this role, you’ll work closely with teams spanning merchandising, planning, finance, and analytics to streamline operations, improve training experiences, and define best practices.
Training Development Specialist Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of merchandising and planning workflows, systems, and reporting
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings to identify gaps in training, documentation, and processes
- Coordinate and lead training sessions in partnership with internal stakeholders
- Create detailed process maps to standardize practices and improve operational efficiency
- Maintain up-to-date training materials and ensure consistency across all outputs
- Partner with subject matter experts to align documentation and support business needs
- Communicate clearly and follow through on tasks to build strong internal relationships
Training Development Specialist Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in training development, process improvement, or a similar role
- Strong understanding of operational processes; merchandising or planning background is a plus
- Excellent organization and analytical thinking skills
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Self-starter with a growth mindset and the ability to manage shifting priorities
- Adept at building trust and working collaboratively across teams
