Law firm in NYC seeks a Recruiting Coordinator with at least 2 years of experience working in a law firm and hiring within legal recruiting.
3-6 month contract with potential to convert
Pay: $30-40/hr, converts at $75-85K base salary
Fully Onsite
Hours 9.30am to 5.30pm
Responsibilities
- Support the Talent Management team with all entry level recruiting and associate recruiting for the New York Office
- Greet candidates and escort them to interview rooms
- Coordinate interviews with attorneys, law students and entry-level candidates
- Assist with on-campus recruiting
- Maintain applicant tracking system, including preparing reports
- Plan and execute recruiting and internal events, including welcome receptions, happy hours and office events
- Maintain hiring data and administer surveys
- Assist with onboarding and orientation, including planning and implementation of the summer associate program
- Provide administrative assistance to Recruiting team
- Ensure excellent candidate experience with timely and professional correspondence with potential candidates, law schools, and vendors
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 2 + years' experience recruiting support within a law firm or legal services organization
- Must have an outgoing personality, superior work ethic and the ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy
- Strong communication and people skills
- Ability to take initiative, maintain a strong work ethic, and promote professionalism
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (mainly Outlook, Word, Excel)
