Job Title: Trainee, HR Generalist
Reports to: Senior Director, Human Resources, Corporate
Job Purpose
The Dior Corporate Trainee participates in a program designed to identify and develop future talent for the organization. By working closely with their assigned Department, the Trainee supports the organization’s short and long-term objectives through day to day administrative and long-term project work. Trainees across departments will collaborate to develop initiatives to improve business results and present a project to the Executive Leadership Team. The HR Generalist Trainee will be based in our NYC Corporate office and will help to impact the organization through supporting a variety of HR Generalist responsibilities.
Job responsibilities
Tasks And Responsibilities
- Support HR Generalists with corporate recruitment administrative tasks: sourcing resumes, scheduling interviews, sending candidates required testing, conducting reference checks, drafting and filing offer letters/documentation, sending background checks, sending rejections and onboarding/offboarding candidates
- Create, manage, and close job requisitions in our applicant tracking systems
- Collaborate with Compensation & Benefits, HR Generalists, Controlling as well as IT, to ensure corporate Joiners & Leavers are set up and entered into our systems in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain accurate records of employees in systems data
- Assist with execution of Trainee Program & corporate events: supporting logistics, catering, gifting, working with vendors, etc.
- Participate in various campus recruitment events to source talent for early career positions
- Assist the HR Generalist team in Employee Relations management for retail and corporate populations
- Oversee and update the floor plan for our NYC Corporate Office and partner with the Director of Workplace Services on any office changes.
- Partner with the Communications team to manage and create companywide internal announcements

- Takes initiative and works to resolve issues through communication, flexibility & collaboration with partnering teams
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure important documents are collected and completed accurately for company purpose
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to deliver information in a clearly and concisely manner

Requirements
- Full-time, 12-month program from July 2025 through July 2026
- Available to work M-F, 9-6pm, Friday work from home
- At least 6 months of prior HR experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Additional information
The appointed candidate will be offered a salary of $20 per hour, plus potential eligibility to participate in the Company's medical benefits plan, commuter benefits, and 401k plans with employer contributions.
