The Sharon at SouthPark is a nonprofit Life Plan Community for seniors in the SouthPark neighborhood of Charlotte, North Carolina. Founded in 1969, originally as The Presbyterian Home at Charlotte, it has operated for more than five decades and today serves approximately 375 residents aged 60 and older. The community provides a full continuum of senior living and care services on a single campus.
Work at The Sharon spans three connected service lines. Independent Living offers residences for active seniors; Assisted Living supports residents with daily activities; and Skilled Nursing provides higher levels of medical care as residents' needs change. Roles therefore range across senior living care, skilled nursing, assisted living and independent living. The organisation stages nearly 900 group events each month for residents, and its nursing care was named among U.S. News & World Report's Best Nursing Homes for 2025.
