Tandem Health

Tandem Health is a European healthtech company founded in 2023 that builds an AI-powered medical scribe. Its product, the Tandem AI medical scribe, generates clinical notes automatically during patient consultations and integrates with major EHR systems, supporting more than 50 medical specialties. The company reports that clinicians using the tool save one to two hours a day on documentation, with notable improvements in documentation accuracy.

The company was founded and built by clinicians, including doctors, psychologists and physiotherapists, with the stated aim of returning time to clinical staff. Tandem Health holds MDR Class IIa certification, making it the first AI assistant for clinical documentation to achieve that classification in Europe. It also has a strategic partnership with Accurx, through which its technology reaches some 200,000 NHS staff.

Since its founding, Tandem Health has grown to more than 5,000 healthcare organisations as customers across over seven countries. Its footprint spans the UK, the Nordics (Sweden being its origin market), the DACH region, France, Spain and Italy. The company has raised €50 million in a Series A round as it scales across European markets.
