ServiceTitan

ServiceTitan builds a cloud-based operating platform for home and commercial service contractors, covering scheduling, dispatch, inventory, payments, accounting and reporting. Founded in 2007; public on Nasdaq since 2024.

ServiceTitan is a cloud-based software platform built for home and commercial service contractors, covering the operations of a trade business from the field to the back office. Its modules span scheduling and dispatch, inventory management, payment processing, accounting and payroll automation, service agreement management, and business intelligence through real-time reporting. The platform also includes AI-powered features. More than 11,800 trade businesses use it, across verticals including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, landscaping, garage door and pest control.

Founded in 2007 by Ara Mahdessian and Vahe Kuzoyan, the company was started by the sons of tradespeople who had seen at first hand the administrative difficulties contractors face. Its stated purpose is to give tradespeople the technology they need to run their businesses. ServiceTitan completed an initial public offering in 2024 and trades on Nasdaq under the ticker TTAN.

Engineering work at the company centres on a cloud-based SaaS platform, applied AI, real-time analytics and reporting, and embedded financial software covering payments, accounting and payroll. The software must handle operational workflows specific to contracting trades, such as dispatch, field service, inventory and service agreements, for a large and growing user base of trade businesses.
