Red Sky

Red Sky is a Polish startup studio founded in 2006 that combines venture capital with hands-on venture building. Working in tech-for-equity partnerships with the VC fund Tar Heel Capital Pathfinder, the studio turns ideas into businesses by contributing technical implementation as well as capital, including MVP creation, recruitment and guidance through product-market fit. It describes itself as Poland's largest startup studio.

The studio employs more than 150 co-workers and associates, with an average employment tenure of more than five years. Its technical work spans AI, climate tech, gaming, digital platforms and healthcare technology, covering both MVP and full product development. Portfolio companies raised over $39m in external financing in 2021, and the studio has recorded exits to Intel, Unikrn, BOLD and other major acquirers.

Red Sky also runs Founders Academy, a free educational programme intended to broaden access to venture-building knowledge for aspiring founders. The company operates from Poland.
