Atomic
Atomic is a venture studio, founded in 2012, that co-founds companies with entrepreneurs, providing capital, teams and operational support across design, engineering, product, marketing, recruiting, legal and finance.
Atomic is a venture studio founded in 2012 by serial entrepreneur Jack Abraham. Rather than investing in existing businesses, it co-founds companies from the ground up, pairing entrepreneurs with ideas, capital, teams and operational resources. The firm identifies large market opportunities and builds companies intended to reshape industries.
Its central offering is a company creation platform that provides in-house support across design, engineering, product, marketing, recruiting, legal and finance. Technical work is concentrated in product engineering, product design and software development. The stated aim is to de-risk company creation so that founders can concentrate on building. More than 30 companies have been launched through the model.
Companies built by Atomic include Hims & Hers (telehealth and consumer health), OpenStore, Found, Bungalow, Homebound, Replicant and Exowatt. The firm manages more than $750m across four venture funds.
Atomic operates as a co-founder alongside the entrepreneurs it backs, rather than as a passive investor, and supports the companies it builds across the full range of early-stage functions.
