Radio Flyer designs and manufactures children's products and family electric bikes. Founded in 1917 by Italian immigrant Antonio Pasin in a small Chicago workshop, the company is best known for the Original Little Red Wagon, the wooden wagon with which it began. It remains a third-generation family-owned business, with headquarters in Chicago, Illinois, and products in use worldwide.
The product range covers wagons, tricycles, scooters, go-karts and battery-powered ride-on toys, alongside the Flyer eBike line of electric bikes designed for family use. Engineering work spans product design, eBike engineering and battery-powered ride-on vehicles, with an stated emphasis on sustainability and clean energy.
Radio Flyer reports over 1 billion wheels on the road worldwide and more than a century in operation. The company is a Certified B Corporation and cites solar power at its headquarters, carbon-neutral shipping and a Build-A-Forest partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation among its environmental commitments.
Its workplace culture has been recognised by Fortune and Fast Company, and by local publications as one of the best places to work in Chicago.
