Tennessee Oncology, founded in 1976 in Nashville, Tennessee, is one of the largest community-based cancer care practices in the United States. The practice has grown from a single location to 33 sites across Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky, and now cares for close to half of the state's cancer patients. Its stated mission, consistent since its founding, is to provide high-quality cancer care close to where patients live.

The practice delivers medical oncology, radiation oncology, hematology and diagnostic imaging within community settings, alongside specialised services at a Women's Health Center and a Center for Blood Cancers. Work spans both treatment and research: the practice operates one of the leading clinical trial networks in the country, giving patients access to therapies often available only at major academic medical centres.
