American Oncology Network
A physician-led alliance of community oncology practices providing centralized pathology, pharmacy, radiation, lab and care coordination services across 20 U.S. states.
American Oncology Network is a physician-led and physician-governed alliance of community oncology practices that delivers comprehensive cancer care. Founded in 2018 and headquartered in Fort Myers, Florida, the network spans 20 U.S. states and includes more than 300 providers, with backing from decades of experience in oncology practice management.
The organisation supplies centralized services to its partner practices so that physicians can concentrate on patient care. These services cover pathology, specialty pharmacy, radiation oncology, radiology and care coordination, alongside enhanced clinical laboratory services, an oral oncolytic pharmacy and financial assistance programmes for patients. The network also takes part in value-based care arrangements such as the Enhancing Oncology Model, with the stated aims of improving outcomes and reducing costs.
The model is designed to preserve practice autonomy while drawing on the strength of the collective network. Its mission is to close the cancer care gap and keep care accessible close to home for patients across the communities it serves.
