Neighborhood Healthcare

Neighborhood Healthcare is a private non-profit Federally Qualified Health Center founded in 1969. Beginning as a single volunteer clinic, it now employs more than 1,000 people and operates from 17 or more locations across San Diego County and Riverside County, California, including Escondido and Riverside. The organisation delivers nearly 500,000 medical, dental and behavioural health visits a year to more than 90,000 patients, treating people regardless of ability to pay or circumstance.

Care is delivered through an integrated, whole-person model spanning primary care, dental services, behavioural health, women's health, pediatrics and prenatal care. The clinical offering also includes chiropractic, acupuncture, podiatry, vision services, pharmacy and laboratory services. Beyond clinical care, programmes addressing social determinants of health cover food assistance, family planning and senior wellness.
