Jupiter Medical Center is a private, not-for-profit regional health care organisation based in Jupiter, Florida, serving patients across South Florida, Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast. Founded in 1979, with roots as a small convalescence centre serving the Salhaven retirement community in the mid-1950s, it has grown from a 34-bed facility with one ambulance into an organisation that treats more than 400,000 patients a year. Forbes named it one of America's Best Midsize Employers 2025, and Newsweek has listed it as a "World's Best Hospital".
Clinical staff work across a broad range of specialities, including robotic surgery, cancer care, heart and vascular treatment, orthopedics, maternity and paediatric services, emergency medicine and community wellness programmes. Orthopedic care is delivered through a partnership with Hospital for Special Surgery. A recently opened Patient Care Tower adds 92 inpatient beds.
The medical centre describes itself as built by the community for the community, with a stated commitment to delivering health care close to home. It has consistently ranked in the top 10 percent of hospitals nationally for patient quality and satisfaction.
