Humanoid
Humanoid develops humanoid robots and AI systems for industrial labour, including the HMND 01 Alpha robot and KinetIQ AI architecture, from offices in London, Boston and Vancouver.
Humanoid is an AI and robotics company developing humanoid robots for industrial-grade labour. It builds machines intended for real-world deployment in factory automation and industrial manufacturing, with an emphasis on commercially scalable and safe systems. The company employs more than 250 engineers, researchers and innovators, many recruited from leading firms in robotics hardware, artificial intelligence and machine learning, and is led by founder and CEO Artem Sokolov.
Its flagship product, HMND 01 Alpha, is a humanoid robot for industrial applications, offered in wheeled and bipedal configurations with high-torque actuators and advanced mechanics. It is powered by KinetIQ, a proprietary four-layer AI brain built on NVIDIA compute infrastructure. The company's technical work spans robotics hardware, machine learning, physical AI, actuator design and AI compute infrastructure.
Humanoid raised a $152 million Series A round and reached unicorn status in 2024, becoming Europe's first pure-play humanoid robotics unicorn. It operates from London, Boston and Vancouver, with a stated mission to amplify human potential through robots.
