Eliza Jennings

Eliza Jennings is a nonprofit organisation providing care and services to older adults on Cleveland's West Side and across Northeast Ohio. Its work spans senior living, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, home health and community-based care, delivered through a continuum designed to support people at each stage of ageing. The organisation operates four communities: the Eliza Jennings Health Campus in Cleveland, which offers independent and assisted living alongside skilled nursing and rehabilitation; the Renaissance Retirement Campus in Olmsted Township; Devon Oaks Assisted Living in Westlake; and Eliza at Chagrin Falls.

Beyond residential settings, Eliza Jennings runs Skilled Home Health Care, a Nurse Practitioner House Call Program delivering visits to seniors in their homes, clinic services, and respite care and adult day programmes for families. Technical domains within the organisation include geriatric care, skilled nursing and rehabilitation, home health, assisted living operations and cognitive therapy.

Among its programmes, SAIDO Learning stands out: a non-pharmacological cognitive therapy shown to improve symptoms of Alzheimer's disease and other dementias in older adults. Eliza Jennings was the first ageing services organisation to offer it. The organisation has been in continuous service since 1888, more than 130 years, and is recognised as an expert in helping people make the most of the ageing experience.
