Capitol Imaging Services (CIS) is an independent operator of outpatient diagnostic imaging centers, running a network of 60 facilities across six states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas. Founded in 2014 and concentrated on the Gulf Coast and the southeastern United States, the company is one of the largest independent outpatient imaging operators in the United States. Its centers provide PET/CT, MRI, CT, mammography, ultrasound, X-ray and related diagnostic services.

The company's facilities are sited in convenient, low-complexity settings rather than on large medical campuses. The operating model is designed to reduce patient anxiety, simplify registration, minimise waiting times and speed results to referring physicians. The company reports patient savings of $200 to more than $7,000 compared with hospital-based imaging prices, and describes its positioning as "Doctor Trusted, Patient Preferred".

Beyond clinical services, CIS takes part in medical-imaging research, having participated in more than 250 clinical research trials and supporting research organisations and teaching institutions including Louisiana State University and Tulane University. The company has expanded through acquisitions of imaging centres.
