Bear Robotics
Bear Robotics builds AI-powered autonomous mobile robots and fleet software for hospitality and logistics, with products including Servi, Servi Clean and the Carti series.
Bear Robotics develops AI-powered autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) for the hospitality and logistics industries. Founded in 2017 by John Ha, who started the company out of firsthand experience in restaurant operations, it is headquartered in Silicon Valley and operates in the United States, South Korea, Japan and more than 20 countries in total. In 2025 LG Electronics acquired a majority 51% stake, and the company is now integrated with LG's commercial robot business.
Its product line covers several application areas. Servi is a food service delivery robot for hospitality and restaurants, Servi Clean targets cleaning applications, and the Carti series serves warehouse and logistics automation. These are underpinned by Bear Universe, a proprietary software platform providing distributed multi-robot control, remote fleet management and AI-powered navigation. The platform can orchestrate up to 1,000 robots in a single space and supports sub-centimetre precision navigation.
The engineering work spans autonomous mobile robots, AI-powered navigation, multi-robot fleet control, LiDAR, 3D computer vision and intelligent mapping. More than 16,000 robots have been deployed across hospitality, food service, logistics, warehousing, cleaning and facility services, alongside commercial, home and industrial robotics.
