Humble Robotics
Humble Robotics develops fully autonomous, cabless electric haulers using vision-language-action models to make commercial freight transportation more efficient and cost-effective.
Humble Robotics develops fully autonomous, electric haulers for commercial freight. Founded in 2025 and based in San Francisco, the company applies physical AI - specifically vision-language-action (VLA) models - to the task of moving goods by road, with the stated aim of delivering the most efficient and cost-effective commercial freight transportation available.
Its product, the Humble Hauler, is a cabless autonomous electric truck designed from the ground up for complex logistics scenarios. It combines VLA models with robust, lightweight hardware on a universal platform that supports multiple vehicle configurations. Removing the cab makes the vehicle significantly lighter than traditional Class 8 tractors, which increases payload capacity and opens up new logistics use cases.
The company's technical work spans physical AI, autonomous driving, electric vehicle engineering, robotics and lightweight hardware design. The team has been assembled from technology companies including Google, Uber, Apple, Tesla and Rivian, with a focus on engineering and logistics talent and on sustainable, safe and efficient freight.
Humble Robotics has raised $24 million in seed funding. It operates in the freight transportation, logistics and commercial trucking sectors from San Francisco, California.
