Cardiovascular Associates of America
A U.S. network of cardiovascular specialists, founded in 2021, partnering with private practices to provide capital and operational support while preserving practice autonomy.
Cardiovascular Associates of America (CVAUSA) is a national network of cardiovascular specialists founded in 2021. The organisation partners with private cardiology practices, supplying capital, resources and operational support while leaving clinical and operational autonomy with the practices themselves. Its stated aim is to advance value-based cardiovascular care; the network currently spans partner practices across eight U.S. states.
Two programmes define the model. The CVAUSA Practice Partnership Network brings independent practices into a unified network without absorbing their autonomy. The Value-Based Care Program is designed to align incentives, reduce costs and improve outcomes for cardiovascular patients. Together these serve more than 750,000 patients a year, supported by over 330 physicians and 150 advanced practice providers.
For clinicians and allied staff, the emphasis is on physician-led practice rather than centralised control. The organisation describes a focus on quality and patient-centred care, and says it believes the people delivering care hold the solutions to improving the industry. Collaboration and shared knowledge across the network sit alongside the preservation of practice-level independence.
Work is carried out in the United States, in the fields of clinical care delivery, healthcare operations support, practice management and value-based care.
