AeroVect

AeroVect builds autonomous driving technology for airport ground support equipment, deploying AI and LiDAR-based systems to automate airside operations for airlines and ground handlers.

AeroVect, founded in 2020 in Silicon Valley, develops autonomous driving technology for ground support equipment (GSE), the vehicles that service aircraft on the ramp. Its flagship product, AeroVect Driver™, is an AI-powered autonomous driving platform designed to let airlines and ground handlers automate airside operations. The system combines 3D LiDAR perception with real-time sensor fusion to maintain 360° situational awareness, and is engineered to operate day or night and in inclement weather.

The platform is trained on what the company describes as the world's largest proprietary dataset of airport driving data, drawn from major airports across North America. In production operations it has completed tens of thousands of successful aircraft crossings, with deployments at some of the world's busiest airports, including Atlanta. AeroVect positions its solution as turnkey and OEM-agnostic, with an emphasis on safety, reliability and cost efficiency.

The company is backed by venture capital investors with expertise in both autonomous driving and aviation. Its work sits at the intersection of several fields - autonomy, computer vision, machine learning and airside logistics - serving airlines, ground handlers and air cargo and baggage operations.
