Abraxas Youth & Family Services is a nonprofit human services provider serving at-risk youth, adults, and families across multiple states in the United States. Founded in 1973 with 30 clients in Marienville, Pennsylvania, it now operates 17 programs and serves more than 5,000 individuals a year. The organisation works across behavioral health, child welfare, substance use treatment and juvenile justice, and is part of the Inperium family of companies.
Its services span the full continuum of care. These include alternative education for at-risk youth and adults, outpatient behavioral health counseling, in-home support, shelter services, detention within the juvenile justice system, residential treatment for behavioral health and substance use disorders, and re-entry and transition services for those returning to the community.
