Youth Opportunity

Youth Opportunity Investments, LLC operates residential and behavioral health treatment programmes for at-risk and traumatized young people across the United States. The organisation combines clinical care, education and vocational training with the aim of supporting young people toward independence and successful reintegration into their communities. It serves more than 800 young people each year and employs over 1,000 professionals.

The company runs a network of 29 facilities across multiple states, spanning three facility types. Youth Academies and Youth Centers provide residential care, behavioral health treatment and academic and vocational instruction, while Primary Assessment Centers carry out initial assessments and draw up individualized treatment plans. Clinical services include crisis intervention, mental health and substance abuse treatment, and medical care.

Treatment is built around individualized plans covering physical and emotional well-being, social connections, family relationships and education, delivered through evidence-based and best-practice approaches. Internally, the organisation uses data analytics, interactive key performance indicator dashboards and internal analytics to guide decision-making. Youth Opportunity is nationally recognized in residential and behavioral health treatment.
