The Role
We’re seeking a
Product Owner /
Product Manager who thrives in high-pressure environments and can turn ambiguity into clarity. The ideal candidate has a consulting background, a strong software engineering mindset, and the ability to take action without waiting for step-by-step direction. This role requires someone who can both lead projects and roll up their sleeves to ensure execution at the highest level.
What You’ll Do
- Own the product vision, roadmap, and execution for complex software projects
- Write detailed, high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria that drive alignment and clarity
- Partner with clients and internal teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring projects stay on track and deliver measurable value
- Anticipate challenges, solve problems quickly, and bring order to ambiguity
- Act as a trusted consultant and strategic advisor to clients
- Balance big-picture product strategy with tactical execution
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, or consulting (start-up or consulting firm experience strongly preferred)
- Proven ability to own complex projects from idea to delivery with little oversight
- Strong background working with software engineers and technical teams; able to think like an engineer even if you’re not coding every day
- Exceptional user story writing and backlog management skills
- Ability to build trust with clients and stakeholders quickly
- Entrepreneurial, action-oriented mindset—someone who makes things happen
