Dagen Personnel is recruiting a Receptionist for a manufacturing company in N. Houston.

This is a temp-to-perm position.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist to manage our front desk on a daily basis and to perform a variety of administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, creating a welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome visitors in a professional manner.
Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
Manage appointments and schedule meetings for staff.
Maintain a tidy and organized reception area.
Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
Assist in managing office supplies and inventory.
Provide administrative support to various departments as needed.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in Office Administration is a plus.
Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Customer-focused with a positive attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Bilingual, Spanish, a plus.
The position involves a heavy amount of filing and requires standing for long periods of time, bending, kneeling, and being able to lift appropriately 50 lbs.
