Stock Associate
Salary range: $20-$24 per hour
Candidates for the Operations Associate position will ideally possess a minimum of one year experience working in a luxury retail back-of-house environment, have an interest in contributing their skill and knowledge of operations, stock, logistics, and should be familiar with the Bode brand. The Operations Associate must be extremely organized, a skilled problem solver, detail oriented and approaches their role proactively. Additionally, the Operations Associate will secure back-of-house efficiency, supporting the store team in providing optimal service to clients, and ensuring all processes are completed in line with Bode Standards.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and support store team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment concerning stockroom/operations
- Work with legal and safety departments to ensure that activities remain compliant
- Oversee materials and inventory, ensuring supplies are ordered when needed
- Manage all incoming and outgoing shipments
- Increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the company’s internal capacity
- Ensure that operational activities remain on time and within budget
- Participate in the morning team briefings and shares important operational information with the store team
- Master working knowledge of logistics technology (RLM, Shopify, inventory scanners and inventory tracking systems)
- Provide administrative support to the team in booking couriers, deliveries and transfers (to clients and the studio)
- Maintain stockroom standards through organization by category as directed by Retail Management team and Inventory & Planning Manager
- Assists on the sales floor when coverage is needed
- Participate in seasonal product knowledge trainings and fit sessions to understand collection inspiration, features and benefits of merchandise
Logistics & Inventory Management:
- Ensure the inventory accuracy and organize weekly/monthly cycle counts as directed
- Audit shipment deliveries upon receipt of merchandise (accurate sizing, tickets with pricing, etc.)
- Maintain responsibility for the follow up and management of all shipping documents
- Manage and follow up on stock transfers between stores, and stock sent for commercial activities (consignment, stylist/studio/tailor shop pulls, photoshoots, etc.)
- Oversee and execute seasonal consolidations to fulfillment center as needed
- Partner with studio team and Store Management/Operations team to prep and execute store inventory to impact store shrink percentage
