The Alameda City Attorney’s Office is seeking a victim-witness advocate to join its team. The position is currently being recruited on a part-time basis, with potential for future adjustments pending review of staffing levels and structure, and an open competitive examination. This professional is expected to have a wide range of duties directly supporting the City Attorney Prosecution Team, educating members of the public, and collaborating with other City Departments and outside organizations. This is the first of its kind position for the City and the incumbent would have the opportunity to help shape and grow the role, consistent with community and Council expectations.
Part time positions are typically limited to 28 hours per week.
