Job Description
Frette is seeking a
General Manager, North America to oversee and manage all commercial divisions of Frette within North America, including all Retail, Contract/Trade, third-party Distributors/Wholesale partners, and Hospitality. The individual is responsible for P&L's for each business unit while ensuring the efficient and distinct strategy for the operations to achieve maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration. This individual must be a hands-on, self-starting, and analytical thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, high growth, environment.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
Strategic Planning & Analysis
- Develop and lead the execution of the company’s commercial strategy for the North America Region, defining clear KPI's, targets and the roadmap for execution to maximize revenue and market share for the Frette brand.
- With direct reports, analyze customer feedback and market trends in order to develop and implement new strategies, tools and resources.
- Finding innovative solutions and tools, such as new technology, to support customer experience in store to further elevate service/experience to client.
- Providing regular updates and reports on the performance to senior management and Board.
Business development
- Seek new partnerships, collaborations, and opportunities for growth. Identify potential markets, evaluate expansion options, and negotiate strategic partners or acquisitions.
- Ensure alignment of business practices, standards, and initiatives across all markets for one client experience.
- Drive Frette’s strong market position and ensure the delivery of quality services and products to customers according to brand strategy and standards.
- Attend networking and trade events within assigned region as brand executive.
Transformational Leadership
- Provide qualitative and quantitative feedback on the market needs to be proactive in driving opportunities for growth in top line and profitability.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to identify emerging opportunities and potential threats.
- Ensure the highest quality of products, services, and customer experience within their area.
- Maintain awareness of market intelligence, conduct market research, and use data-driven insights to make informed decisions for the business channels.
Cross-functional & Team Leadership
- Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders, customers, suppliers, and partners.
- Collaborate with various departments including finance, operations, product development, marketing, etc. to align commercial needs with overall business goals.
- Initiate programs to support the roll out of new launches with key internal stakeholders (visual merchandising, CRM, Marketing).
- Recruit, train, and manage employees, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Providing feedback and coaching within the moment.
- Inspiring and motivating teams to achieve clear goals and to work autonomously with sound decision making and judgement.
Qualifications
- Proven success and extensive experience with developing and executing commercial strategies for B2C and B2B markets, luxury experience preferred.
- Expertise in financial analysis and budgeting.
- Strong ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
- Must be resourceful, collaborative and a creative solution-seeker.
- Foster cross-functional teamwork and communication to drive success.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel internationally up to 35%.

The Salary Range for this role is $225,000 - $250,000 per year.
