Printfresh is seeking an E-commerce Operations Assistant to help maintain and enhance the Printfresh.com experience. This role blends site operations management, content accuracy, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration. You'll support day-to-day ecommerce operations, ensuring product listings are accurate, experiences are optimized, and the customer journey is seamless from start to finish.
This role is hybrid, working in our Philadelphia office Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday and remotely on Mondays and Fridays. In-office days are required for this position.
Key Responsibilities
Site Management & Content Accuracy
- Support the management and maintenance of the e-commerce platform, ensuring product listings are accurate, visually appealing, and optimized for search engine visibility
- Set up and test promotions, banners, and featured content based on marketing calendars and sales plans
- Coordinate regular website audits to identify and resolve content or technical errors
- Assist with site updates tied to product launches, seasonal campaigns, and promotional events
- Stay informed about emerging e-commerce trends, technologies, and industry best practices, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance the online retail experience
- Create a digital customer experience that generates engagement and sales
- Maintain product listings to ensure accurate pricing, tagging, metadata, and imagery
- Conduct regular site audits to identify and resolve content and functional issues
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Monitor and provide weekly reporting on e-commerce analytics and key performance indicators (traffic, conversion, sales, AOV, bounce rate, etc.)
- Identify trends and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations to the Sr. Ecomm & UX Manager
- Optimize website user experience to help create an intuitive site experience that improves conversion rates, retention, and satisfaction
Site Merchandising
- Merchandise and optimize product collections and landing pages to support brand, seasonal, and sales strategies
- Monitor product placements and adjust based on inventory levels, sales trends, and marketing focus
- Collaborate with the merchandising team to leverage sales data and analytics to inform collection merchandising and creation
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Support customer service efforts by resolving issues and ensuring a positive online shopping experience
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Creative teams to align site content with online promotions and product launches
Requirements
- 2-3 years of e-commerce experience with a retailer- home and or fashion experience is a plus
- Customer-first mindset with a focus on delivering a frictionless online experience
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and leverage sales to inform decisions
- Knowledge of technical setup activities for e-commerce platforms & willingness to learn new technologies and platforms; Shopify, GA4, Figpii
- Experience with merchandising web pages on Shopify and a strong understanding of e-commerce merchandising best practices
- Ability to manage multiple projects, competing priorities, and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
- Strong trend awareness and ability to identify what resonates with the customer
- Highly organized with keen attention to detail and follow-through
- A team player with a collaborative approach to cross-functional partnerships
