The HR Coordinator provides administrative and clerical support to the human resources department, assisting with various HR functions and employee record management. The HR Coordinator has the primary responsibility for coordinating and supporting the day-to-day responsibilities of payroll, benefits, internal changes, contract management, audits, benefit administration, immigration administration, and assisting with the documentation and upkeep for all standard operation procedures.

- This role does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains a standard of operational excellence in all facets of HR operations.
- Assists in maintaining candidate experience through follow-up, interview-scheduling, and prescreening qualified entry level candidates.
- Conducts background screenings and employee eligibility verifications.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including, but not limited to, payroll, benefits administration, benefit reconciliation, immigration matters, internal company changes.
- Triage HR questions and manage the HR inbox along with general questions that come into the HR ticketing system.
- Answers general benefit questions and provides guidance to employees on basic benefit options and directs them to the appropriate point of contact i.e. Health Navigator, HR Manager, HR Director.
- Leads orientation sessions for new hires, ensuring all onboarding documentation is complete, and employees are properly introduced to policies and procedures for entry level hires and consultants.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, deferring complex and/or sensitive matters to appropriate staff or leadership.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Stays informed on trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Coordinates and assists with internal process documentation (SOP manual) and ensures workflow efficiency.
- Maintains HR pages on the company Intranet with up-to-date content and images.
- Participates in special projects including company events, RCC cares, benefit enhancements, immigration programs, and wellness initiatives.
- Conducts routine audits and maintains the audit program to ensure 100% compliance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- At least one year of human resource management experience preferred.
- SHRM-CP, aPHR, PHR a plus.
- Experience managi system implementations a plus.
