OpportunityBoom is growing quickly, and we’re looking for an Executive Assistant to help keep our leadership team and operations running smoothly. In this role, you will provide direct support to the CEO and selected team members, as well as contribute across sales, marketing, recruiting, and general operations. You will organize events, manage scheduling, handle key administrative tasks, and support the sales and recruiting process. This is a high-visibility, hands-on role ideal for someone who is extremely organized, proactive, and comfortable juggling a variety of priorities in a dynamic startup environment. This role is based full-time in our Austin office, working closely with our leadership and go-to-market teams.
What you'll do- Executive Support: Manage scheduling and calendar coordination for the CEO and selected team members
- Marketing & Events: Organize conference and event logistics; manage shipping of gifts to prospects and customers
- Sales Support: Help prepare and send contracts; assist with creating decks and materials for sales calls
- Recruiting Support: Conduct initial applicant screenings and coordinate interview scheduling
- Expense Management: Work with the CEO and others to intake expenses and file them on our behalf, while working with our bookkeeper
- Office Admin: Process incoming mail; manage light administrative tasks for the office
- (Bonus) Social Media: Assist Marketing Lead with social media posts and LinkedIn activity
What you'll need- 2+ years of experience in an administrative, executive assistant, office management, or operations support role
- Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive and self-directed — you take ownership and get things done
- Comfortable using tools such as Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides), Slack, and Zoom
- Positive, collaborative, and professional demeanor
- Interest in startups, proptech, or fintech is a bonus
