JOB TITLE: Manager, Retail Marketing

OVERVIEW
As the Retail Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in developing and executing the marketing strategy for international retailers to drive brand awareness and sales across all Summer Fridays channels in these regions. In this role you will oversee the development and execution of retail marketing programs, including but not limited to visual merchandising, 360 new launch campaigns, core product programs, sampling, in-store, online activations, etc.
The role involves providing strategic input on international retail programs, managing timelines, budgets, and coordination with cross-functional and retailer teams to ensure all deliverables are delivered on-time, to spec, and to brand standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute the retail marketing strategy across international channels, ensuring alignment with overall brand objectives, key product focuses, sales targets, and goals.
- Provide strategic input on international retailer programs, including but not limited to sampling, visual merchandising, new launches, core product programs, on-site optimization, additional in-store exposures and animations, and eventing.
- Manage visual merchandising program for international retailers, coordinating with merchants, production, and internal creative teams to ensure deliverables are delivered on time, to spec and within budget.
- Manage international sampling programs and budget, working with Ops, Packaging, and Sales to ensure samples are available on time with necessary regulatory and retail requirements.
- Assist in leading monthly status calls with retailers to ensure clarity across delivery, shipping, and new launch timing for all channels
- Maintain the international retail marketing calendar with all new launches, core programs, sampling, store openings, animations/exposures, co-op kits, etc.
- Manage all executional retail deliverables, including but not limited to NPFs, PDPs, brand pages, pitch forms, review seeding, meeting notes, retailer decks, scheduling, etc.
- Collaborate with Brand Marketing to develop 360 marketing plans internationally for all new launches.
- Support retailer events and in-market activations both conceptually and on-site as required.
- Ensure all brand content is optimized for each retailer, delivered on time and to each retailer’s specifications.
- Collaborate with Brand Marketing, Product Marketing and Sales in concepting new ideas to support overall retail marketing goals in these regions, brand storytelling and key focus products.
- Develop global guidebooks for international regions to use as best practices for marketing activations.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in retail marketing or a related field
- Background in beauty, fashion or agency preferred
- Experience working with retailer partners to drive brand awareness and retail sales
- Passion for skincare, beauty, and marketing
- Strong understanding of the beauty industry and retail landscape
- Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience managing budgets and working with cross-functional teams
- Creative problem-solver with a strategic mindset
- Collaborative, open-minded and able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
- Must be based in Los Angeles, CA
