The ideal candidate will be well-versed in data science and biology or chemistry, working with cross-functional teams to gain insights from datasets that can be used to find cures for different diseases. A passion for working with data and coding in Python or other languages are essential to the role.
Responsibilities
- Working with scientific datasets to gain insights relevant to drug discovery
- Design accurate and scalable prediction algorithms
- Collaborate with data science teams to bring analytical prototypes to production
- Make an impact to the company's data science, modeling, and engineering process.
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's degree Computational Biology, Computational Chemistry, Pharmacology, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Lab experience strongly preferred
- Deep understanding of predictive modeling, machine-learning, and data science, relating to Biological, Chemical, and Pharmacological processes.
- Fluency in a programming language (Python, C, C++, Java, SQL, Linux)
- Can work hybrid in NYC or Boston
