Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Data Entry Clerk to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail and a passion for accuracy in data entry. In this role, you will be responsible for inputting, updating, and maintaining data within our database and other systems, ensuring that all information is current and accurate.
Key Responsibilities
- Input and update data into databases and systems accurately and promptly.
- Verify and validate data for accuracy and consistency before entry.
- Organize and maintain files and documents for easy access and retrieval.
- Assist in the preparation of reports by collecting and summarizing data as needed.
- Communicate with team members to gather required data and clarify any discrepancies.
- Implement data cleansing processes to enhance data integrity.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in data management or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in data entry or similar role is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and data management software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work is essential.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members and other departments.
