White Circle

White Circle is a Paris-based company, founded in 2024, that builds a unified control layer for AI systems in production. Its platform combines safety testing, real-time security enforcement, evaluations and performance optimization, with the stated aim of letting organisations deploy AI applications while keeping control over their behaviour.

The product line includes automated red teaming to surface failures and vulnerabilities in AI systems; custom low-latency guardrails with support for unlimited custom policies; behavioural analytics with clustering and custom metrics; and AI optimization through dynamic prompts and intelligent model routing. The company reports that its systems process more than one billion API requests a year and support over 150 languages. It operates in the AI and machine learning, AI safety and security, and developer tools sectors.

White Circle was inspired by founder Denis Shilov's 2024 demonstration of bypassing safety filters across every major AI model. It is backed by founders of OpenAI, Anthropic, HuggingFace, Mistral, DeepMind, Datadog and Sentry, and raised $11m in seed funding. The company states that it is SOC 2 Type II and HIPAA compliant.
